Forum Games Rules
« on: August 31, 2009, 10:02:43 PM »
Most agree that eventually a forum game reaches the point where the appeal has died down, or the replies have taken a nosedive from clever to stupid. As such, the team is taking initiative in cleaning up the Forum Games area by locking threads which have outlived their usefulness. Determining factors will generally be as follows:

Page Amount: This will vary of course, but it's usually safe to assume that the best of fun to be had by a game has ended by the time it has reached page 90-100.

Participation: This will vary as well, but it becomes pretty obvious that the game is no longer of interest to the community when the only people playing are the same few posting repeatedly.

Post Quality: As mentioned above, when the level of thought going into the posts has gone downhill noticeably, it's a good sign that the game should be brought to an end. We don't need any counting threads or any of that sort for the matter.

Just like the rest of the forums, the game threads will be watched by the various team members, and threads which get locked will be at the discretion of the team.
