This could be built as a custom module.

It would be nice to see a welcome module that shows the latest member to everyone and changes to each latest member.

Welcome module that SP uses?  Care to point me in the direction that you're referring to because I'm not finding anything about it..

The only thing I can think of for this is the Welcome Topic Mod by vbgamer45.  Ofcourse, this wouldn't be that hard to even make a module that makes great use of this mod also.

And perhaps a Welcome Module could be created by a Customizer if they wanted to, hell, maybe I'll have a go at it when I get on my feet again.  Sounds simple enough.

I know the welcome topic mod..  I use it on almost every site that I run..  lol..  But not sure what he's requesting is what I'm saying..  And searching over at SP doesn't really give me any info either..

I think DS is saying, and correct me if I'm wrong, that he would like to welcome new members within a module.  Perhaps only showing this module to new members for a certain number of days or just once.  In any case, it could be a multi-purpose module IMO.  That could welcome new members, and do something else for existing members.  That would make it more flexible and cooler IMO.

Well, let us know if this is what you are saying DS, k?

Ah..  I see how that is a really good idea for a module..  If that is of course what DS is talking about..

Now I know what it is, it can be by using "custom" module after all.
