  • Change type of display, Month, Day, Agenda
  • Set size, to fit it where you want on DP
  • Ability to turn on scrolling if content is too big

Important notice
If you want to show the calendar to all your members and guest you have to set your calendar as public, this is done through the Calendars settings, find Share and choose to make Public :) Can't find it? Message me :)

It does not integrate with SMF, nor does it take resources from your server ;)
You can not edit the events from within SMF or DP, this is done on your Google Calendar

Add CSS styling abilities from within the DP modules admin
Get rid of the hideous white background colors on the tabs ;)

Please test it, and give me some feedback ;)

I would love to see an auto width. That the calendar automatically adjusts to the DP module width. Is that possible? Edit: I tried it out with firebug. You can set the width to 100%, and it works. Maybe you can add that?

Oh, and btw. It doesnt work... :P

Yes, it porbably is. Go to your admin page, and open the dream portal menu on that. Click on modules... Then you'll get to the page where you can manage your modules. Now click on add modules. Go and upload the package of this modules, then it appears above the upload area, and click install. That's all

Probably something missing in this packages info.xml file.  Not sure, haven't tested.  DP 1.1 has better support for modules and is way more flexible when uploading modules.  If I have time, I'll try and see what the problem is, give me a few, be back soon.

With 130 downloads of this module and just now you a report of an error with this module, well, I just had to test it out to be sure.  And yes, the module works perfectly fine.  I am able to upload it just fine, so not sure what the problem is on your end of things.  Make sure you don't have the module already uploaded, if you do, just install it.  Works fine for me, so not sure what your problem is with it exactly.

How many modules do you have installed?  It might be conflicting with another module that is installed.  Not really sure, but perhaps try deleting your modules 1 at a time and try uploading this one after each module you delete.  If you find the conflicting module, let us know so we can take a look at it, k?

Re: Google Calendar - October 11, 2011, 12:56:44 PM
Ok, I think I know what the problem is.  But to be sure, let me ask this...  Do you have Dream Portal installed within your SMF Package area?  If not, that is your problem.  These module packages are for Dream Portal only and are meant to be uploaded via the Dream Portal "Add Modules" Admin interface only!  These modules are simply modules, NOT mods (short for Modifications to SMF).  If you want to use any of these modules, you should uninstall Adk Portal 2.0, and install Dream Portal instead, than in the "Add Modules" section of the Dream Portal Admin Panel, you would than upload and install this module into it, and TADA!

So, I think your problem is that you are trying to upload a Dream Portal module into the SMF Package area as a Modification to SMF.  And that is not what these modules are for.  These modules are specifically, ONLY, for Dream Portal.  You MUST have the Dream Portal Mod installed in order to use any of these modules.

Sincerely
